The Associate Director of Development is a critical role in Health System Development. This individual is responsible for creating and implementing a major gift fundraising plan for School of Medicine alumni living in seven or more States, including portions of Virginia. Assistant Director of Reunion and Leadership Annual Giving

The Assistant Director of Reunion and Leadership Annual Giving reports to the Director of Reunion and Leadership Annual Giving. The Assistant Director will travel to visit and recruit reunion chairs/co-chairs, giving volunteers and secure reunion gifts. Gifts to include annual, endowments, capital and future support. The Assistant Director will also travel to solicit leadership gifts not in a reunion year for Rotunda Society membership of $2,500+. The Assistant Director will visit 100+ prospects/donors and maintain a current portfolio of alumni and friends and is also responsible for managing two-three reunion classes. Incumbent will be responsible for researching alumni/friends before visiting, and responsible for qualifying major gift/gift planning prospects and sharing information with these two departments, Development and Public Affairs, and the Schools/Units. This position works closely with Development and Public Affairs Regional Office, Office of Planned Giving, Schools, Units and the Alumni Association.
