Training Opportunities


DPA supports a culture of learning and development and offers many training opportunities.

DPA-HR has a dedicated Learning and Talent Development Manager responsible for career planning and the development of our employees. The Learning and Talent Development Manager designs and delivers training for individuals and groups as well as serves as a consultant and advisor to all employees.

Through Development Officer Training, the University provides professional and career development services to all fundraisers and engagement officers.  Specific programs and services include one-on-one and classroom-based orientations, coaching and mentoring, workshops, retreats, web-based learning, and opportunities to work with small teams of colleagues from across our development officer community to find solutions to real business challenges.

Education Benefit

Our education benefit is a centrally funded model that provides each benefits eligible employee $2,000 per year, not to exceed seven undergraduate or six graduate credits per semester.  For more information and details, please review our Education Benefits Policy.
