.: AAPAAN Distinguished Student Awards

AAPAAN and the Office of the Dean of Students work together to identify graduating fourth-year students who have made significant contributions to the Asian Pacific American community at U.Va. The awards will recognize "Service to the APA Community" and "Academic Achievement" and an "Unsung Hero." Recipients are recognized at a reception in April of each year sponsored by the AAPAAN, the Alumni Association and the Fourth Year Class Trustees.

For full consideration, students must be:

    * Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student who will graduate in May
    * In good academic standing
    * Of Asian American or Asian Pacific American descent

Nominations will include a letter of recommendation and a copy of the nominee's resume. Students may be nominated for more than one award.
