The Contest to Change Annual Giving
at the University of Virginia 

Annual Giving provides sustenance to the University—the unrestricted support that gives us the flexibility to compete at the highest levels. Annual giving is also a great way to show our pride and affection for this great University. And yet, only approximately 25 percent of U.Va. alumni make a yearly gift, and just 7 percent of young alumni give each year. With your help, we can do better. 

We need your ideas. People—students, alumni, faculty, staff—are the University’s greatest assets. That’s why we’re taking the challenge to the entire U.Va. family. The next big idea, a new way to reach and inspire young alumni, is out there. You can help us find it.
